Our Commitment
ElitePTS is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We believe that every visitor — including those with visual, motor, cognitive, or auditory impairments — should be able to access our training resources, coaching services, and content without barriers.
We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our platform and, where possible, follow the relevant standards and guidelines to make our digital experience inclusive.
Accessibility Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, a set of guidelines developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
- Perceivable — Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
- Operable — User interface components and navigation must be operable by all users, including those using keyboard or assistive technology.
- Understandable — Information and operation of the user interface must be understandable.
- Robust — Content must be robust enough to be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.
Measures We Take
We take the following measures to support accessibility across the ElitePTS platform:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy (h1–h6) for screen reader navigation.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation — all interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are operable without a mouse.
- Visible focus indicators using a high-contrast focus ring on all focusable elements.
- Descriptive alt text on informational images; decorative elements are marked aria-hidden.
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and background to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Responsive design that adapts from 320px to ultra-wide screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Support for prefers-reduced-motion — animations and transitions are reduced when the user's system preference is set.
- Touch targets of at least 44px on interactive elements for mobile accessibility.
- Accessible form labels and error messaging on all public forms.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content and features may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are continuously reviewing and improving accessibility across the platform.
- Some third-party embedded content (videos, maps, social media widgets) may not be fully accessible.
- Older archived articles may contain formatting that predates our current accessibility standards.
- Some interactive tools and calculators may have complex input patterns that are difficult for some assistive technologies.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier that prevents you from accessing content, please contact us using the information below and we will work to provide the information in an accessible alternative format.
