Content Use & Anti-Scraping Policy
This policy governs how ElitePTS content, designs, data, and assets may — and may not — be used, reproduced, and reused.
Contents
All content published by ElitePTS is proprietary to ElitePTS / APEX9 Corp. This policy supplements our Terms of Use, Copyright Notice, and Intellectual Property Notice.
1. Ownership & Copyright
All content on elitepts.com — including articles, programs, training methodologies, calculators, coaching curricula, recipes, videos, graphics, logos, branding, software, databases, and downloadable resources — is owned by or licensed to ElitePTS / APEX9 Corp. and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
ElitePTS asserts copyright over its original content from the moment of publication. Where applicable, content carries a document ID, version stamp, publication timestamp, and ElitePTS watermark as evidence of provenance and ownership.
2. Prohibited Uses
The following are strictly prohibited without prior written permission from ElitePTS:
- Copying, cloning, or republishing ElitePTS content, in whole or in part, on other sites, apps, or media.
- Scraping, crawling, or automated extraction of ElitePTS content, data, or assets.
- Creating datasets, training corpora, or derivative data products from ElitePTS content.
- Using ElitePTS content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
- Ingesting ElitePTS content into AI systems, model marketplaces, or retrieval pipelines.
- Creating derivative commercial works, products, courses, or services based on ElitePTS content.
- Using ElitePTS content in competing products, platforms, or coaching marketplaces.
- Removing or altering copyright notices, watermarks, document IDs, or provenance metadata.
- Circumventing access controls, rate limits, or signed-URL protections on premium downloads.
3. AI Training & Datasets
ElitePTS content may not be used for AI training, model ingestion, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, or derivative dataset creation. Our /robots.txt disallows known AI-training and scraping crawlers (including GPTBot, CCBot, Google-Extended, ClaudeBot, anthropic-ai, Bytespider, Applebot-Extended, FacebookBot, Meta-ExternalAgent, and others), and our machine-readable /ai.txt declares a no-AI-training, no-cloning, no-derivative-dataset policy.
robots.txt and ai.txt are crawler instructions, not technical access controls. Some operators may ignore them. The prohibition on AI training and dataset creation applies regardless of whether a crawler complies.
4. Permitted Uses
The following limited uses are permitted without prior permission:
- Reading, viewing, and personally using ElitePTS content for fitness education and coaching workflow.
- Linking to ElitePTS pages and sharing links with attribution to elitepts.com.
- Quoting brief excerpts (a few sentences) with a visible link back to the original ElitePTS page, for commentary or review.
- Downloading the free Personal Training Guide for personal, non-commercial use (the guide is branded and watermarked).
Permitted use does not include republication, redistribution, scraping, AI training, or commercial reuse. If your intended use is beyond personal, non-commercial use, you must obtain a license (see Section 5).
5. Licensing & Permissions
Commercial, institutional, educational, or derivative use of ElitePTS content requires a written license. To request a license, use the form in Section 7 (select “Licensing request”) or email legal@elitepts.com with a description of the content, the intended use, the organization, and the intended distribution.
Unauthorized commercial use will be treated as copyright infringement and may result in takedown notices, account termination, and legal action.
6. Enforcement & Takedowns
ElitePTS actively monitors for unauthorized copying, cloning, and scraping. Confirmed infringement is addressed through takedown notices to hosting providers and platforms, and through further legal remedies where appropriate.
- A professional DMCA / copyright takedown notice template is maintained in the ElitePTS Content Protection admin hub.
- Protected and private areas (client, trainer, admin, staging, authenticated workspaces, private downloads) are marked noindex / noarchive / nosnippet and are not for public indexing.
- Premium downloads are gated by authentication and, where supported, expiring signed URLs, rate limits, download logging, and per-user watermarking.
- Server-side anti-abuse controls (request throttling, bot/rate anomaly logging, blocked user-agent/IP lists, admin alerts) supplement front-end deterrents.
No technical measure can make public web content impossible to copy. ElitePTS relies on a layered approach — deterrence, access control, crawler instructions, ownership evidence, and enforcement — rather than a claim of absolute copy protection.
